Fix it

I got it running! Yesss! the machine is nearly alive. I've stick and jabbed so many wires in it that I can feel the power (or the static electricity). My only problem now is that my OS won't boot cause of all the new stuff. I can probably only get into safe mode so now I have to get a hard disk, install the OS before I have it up and running. Hmmm, this may take a few more days considering the time it takes to format and install an OS and downloading all those drivers.

Well I got a new 500 GB hard disk better than the old 80 and 40GB that was in the old one. I can remember having an 800 MB one waaaay back. It's amazing that 800 MB was huge back then when now 1 TB is now commonplace.

Now I can put in my old win XP but there's Window's 7 coming out and 64 bit seems the a good choice for the future. However, 64 bit compatibility might be tough even today. Ho hum anyway, with this new rig I can't wait for Dragon Age that's soon to be released. All that's left to complete it is a video card.... the ATI 5770 looks pretty awesome.
