Mass Effect Rants

With the holiday break, I've just started playing Mass Effect in anticipation of next year's Mass Effect 2. Compared to Dragon Age, Mass Effect looks far better and the way the dialogue plays out is much more fluid.

My rants however come in when the game freezes like every 30 minutes. This is far worse than Dragon Age. I've tried turning off sound hardware acceleration, lowering resolution and settings to no avail. I'm using the latest video card drivers and my system is way above the system requirements. I'm already using the latest version of Mass Effect and still it crashes here and there.

I'm getting frustrated. I'll just go kill some zombies.
