For shooter fans, we have the massive multiplayer - Battlefield 2. For those who don't like shooters but like competing in a world wide racing leaderboard - there's Trackmania United Forever.

Left 4 Dead 2: First Run

I just got Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday and played my first quick game a few minutes ago. I had to wait sometime to update yesterday and I had to test my settings so my first real game was today.

What do I have to say about it? It's pretty much like the first Left 4 Dead 2 but with more weapons (variations of the assault rifle, sub machine gun and shot gun). There's melee weapons now which replaces the pistol. It's awesome to go slashing zombies with a machete or bashing them with a guitar. I haven't got the chainsaw yet but I heard that was awesome. The situations have varied, like instead of defending one spot, you have to charge towards the escape in order to survive.

My first game was pretty OK. I had a ping of over 300 but I didn't really notice much lag nor did it affect my performance that much. There were a couple of times where zombies or my team mates would just suddenly pop in front of me but considering I still got the highest kills and damage to special infected, I guess a ping of 300 doesn't matter.

The mission we were playing was the Parish where the final part was a run on the chopper. We had to shoot our way through a zombie infested bridge. I took the lead this time as it's a pretty straightforward place. One of my companions who played Ellis died pretty quickly and I didn't notice if he fell off the bridge or some infected go to him. A Chinese guy (he head a Chinese name so I assumed it as such) played Coach rushed to the front after Nick and me (I played Rochelle) had to fight off a tank. He just kept charging forward while both of us were left moving forth. Near the end, there's a truck with a machine gun. Coach headed straight to the chopper while I manned the gun and tried to kill another tank who was after Nick. I managed to take the Tank out but a horde of zombies mobbed me and I went down. Nick was now idle and the AI self went and help me at the cost of being mobbed by more zombies. I fired several shots off with my shotgun and tried to help him up but the mob was unstoppable. Coach was probably at the chopper now and I said to hell with Nick and left him to be eaten. Still, zombies charged at me and I defended myself with a machete while struggling for the chopper.. In the end, I managed to escape and look at the evil number on my record:

DA: Good and Evil

There's a reason why I find Dragon Age to be the next step in video games. Let's first look back at some of the older games - Baldur's Gate. Baldur's Gate (and the earlier Fallout and Fallout 2 series) were RPGs where you had a lot of freedom in your choices. The problem however of these games was the stories were pretty black and white. You could be good or you could be evil. Baldur's Gate, as it was following the Dungeon's and Dragons system, had a very specific way of creating a character class - you had to pick your alignment. So you could be Lawful Good, chaotic good, true neutral or chaotic evil and all that. This technically means that you are bound to act and roleplay as your created character however this was never the case in the game.

Situations in Baldur's gate was always good versus evil. An evil lich, an oppressive noble or a slaver had a power an you could either go against this or help them. In general, these situations would lead you to play the good guy for two reasons. One, being good had huge advantages of having lower merchant prices and two, you usually had better rewards. Playing evil was only a choice you'd take for trying to experience the game differently. Though the best characters of their class were evil - Edwin - Mage, Vicona - Cleric and Korgan - Warrior, you'd still probably use them in a good way but avoid reaching a high reputation to make them stay in your party.

Knights of the Old Republic is similar. Being bad is now at par with good in terms of rewards but again the story is still evil or good. You'd be an evil character for the sake of having evil sith powers not because you feel like taking one side for another.

Dragon Age pushes the story differently. This is the best aspect of the game. Situations are more ambiguous. For now, (and SPOILER alert) I'll talk about the situation with the elves. The dalish elves are over at the forest and you need their help to combat the darkspawn horde. However, there are werewolves in the forrest and attacking the elves so the elvish leader won't help till you kill their leader - the white wolf. So I agree, thinking that werewolf = evil and I need the help of the elves. The werewolves also oppose me and so I decide to fight them. However, the closer I push towards the white wolf, I start to have doubts. The werewolves keep shouting to guard the lady...who is this lady? Are the elves actually attacking the wolves and not the other way around? So I push further in to these ruins, taking out dozens of werewolves and other forest beasts. Finally, their top werewolf asks to parley and speak with their leader - the lady. Parley? Weren't I told that these wolves were bloodthirsty beasts? I decided to agree. Here I learn that the lady tells the story that the elf leader - created the white wolf to punish the humans who killed his daughter. Lycanthropy was the punishment to humans now affected his own elves. She asked me to take the leader to them and I agreed - I hated being lied to. So just outside the wolves lair, the elvish leader was there waiting. After much questioning, he claims the lady is the white wolf and this was a trick so I didn't know who to side with.

The 2 leaders confront - the elvish leader and the lady / white wolf. The lady asks to lift the curse but the elf leader refuses to unsummon and stop the lycanthropy curse, this time I sided with the wolves and beat this elvish leader up. He decides to release the curse after he's all bloody from my attack. This removal of the curse would take both the lives of him and the white wolf. The werewolves return to human forms and all is well.

So who's the evil one? The elvish leader who cursed the humans (centuries ago) or the werewolves who just wanted peace and now attacked the humans? Since this is a discussion of good and evil and my character was pretty annoyed by the hassle of this quest he decides to kill the former werewolves now human. This time, the humans proved to be no challenge and were massacred by my character. Thus, I am really the true evil, squishing their heads - as Shale, my lovely golem companion agrees with me. This is what makes Dragon Age a step further in storytelling.

Loading screens also tell my story, amazing!

Gyromancer

Well, my PC monitor is fried from dragon fighting in Dragon Age. So I'm stuck back to my ancient laptop. I could go and play Torchlight but there's this new game from Pop Cap and Square Enix called Gyromancer. So let me take a look and see.

So you get the super casual game company Pop Cap and merge it with the RPG world of Square Enix and you get a Puzzle Quest rip off. It's basically the same thing - instead of RPG combat you get Bejeweled combat. You match at least 3 blocks / gems /whatever and that is basically it. I'm sure if you liked Bejeweled or even Puzzle Quest, you'll definitely like this game as the art is far better.

To tell you the truth, I'd rather just go and get Puzzle Quest as they are the one that started this concept. I was expecting more of a casual RPG considering the big companies that made the game maybe in the style of Penny Arcade Adventures but without their humor. I liked Puzzle Quest but I never loved it (Bejeweled bores me to death after some time). This isn't a game for me but if you did enjoy that - go ahead and try it first - they have a demo available now.

I'll be waiting to either get my monitor fixed or grab a new LCD (though I could just grab an old CRT and spend the money on games...). For now, Torchlight awaits me.

Games of the Weekend - Nov 21, 2009

It's the weekend sale again so here come the games:

Over in Steam, they have a sale on Frontlines: Fuel of War which is a modern day shooter. I've heard it's pretty average but the thing that makes it stand out is it's huge multiplayer rooms. You can get it at 75% off this weekend.

Now in Impulse, two big games - Supreme Commander and Prince of Persia are on 25% off. Prince of Persia is only available in North America though but then I would not really be playing a platformer over on a PC - I'd rather do that on a console.

Finally in GamersGate, King's Bounty: The Legend is 50% off. If you want to play a cheaper version of the sequel - King's Bounty: Armored Princess then here's a good chance to try it. Majesty 2 is on sale NOW (daily deal) grab it before it turn's Saturday in the whole world. There's also Tropico: Reloaded, Sango 2 & Takeda 3 bundle and Evochron Legends on sale there.

Dragon Age - Difficulty

I have two big difficulties that stop me from enjoying Dragon Age. The first and the most critical is the annoying freezing of my PC randomly. I'm using a 4770 and according to my searches in the internets, there seems to be a problem with the ATI driver - upgrading to the latest one seems to have solved this problem as I have not yet had a crash in the game.

The second is a gameplay thing. Like Baldur's Gate and similar open world games - once the world opens up you can go anywhere naturally. Well the stuff I've been blogging about - about the dwarven quests turns out to be one of the most difficult one in the game. I've beaten the elven quest quite easily and my current escapades in the circle of magi quest isn't providing much difficulty now. Well I guess all games can't be perfect. I recommend people to stay away from the dwarves until you do all other places first.

Besides this two flaws...Dragon Age is still my game of the year.

DA: Anvil of the Void

Again spoiler warnings... read this if you have done this area or don't really care about playing Dragon Age.

So the thieving grey warden made it to Branka? It's amazing how far a common thief has reached in the world. Battling demons and darkspawn, looters and bandits while making a pile of gold for himself. Gunter has reached Branka only to be trapped in the area with her unless he finds the anvil of the void. It was a difficult task considering Branka has been there for some time and still hasn't gotten past the traps and the guards.

A horde of darkspawn first blocked Gunter's path. With the stealth and guile, the group managed to lead one enemy at the time to their hiding spot and beat the crap out of them. The darkspawn numbers thinned until it was but an ogre and a couple of archers left. Gunter's team charged in taking out their enemies swiftly. Ogre's were no longer a problem to them despite it's massive size.

Next came the first room with traps. These traps were no match for the raw experience of one of the greatest dwarven thieves. A few screws removed rendered the blade traps useless but this was not the only threat. There were several stone golems in the room and they awoke once the party was in the center of it. Yet Gunter had his own golem companion, Shale. With the aid of the berserker rage of Ohgren, they take out the golems quickly.

A problem has arisen for the team suddenly. Gunter's double dagger fighting isn't effective against these stone golems. Gunter has never been the fighter and he relies basically on his speed to take down enemies and against rocks, all he manages to do is chip off the top layers. (In a game note, the dagger damage is broken - it only takes strength for damage when it should be half of strength and dexterity. There's a hotfix but it boosts the power of bows so it seems to be a worse tradeoff as enemy archers outnumber your group 5 to 1). Morrigan's staff also seems to deal no damage against these constructs. Blasts of cold and lightning merely slow down these living robots.

Gas filled the second chamber which Gunter had to pass. More golems blocked their way and Gunter's backstab attack did more than break his own dagger. The golems broke off some floor tiles...large floor tiles and hurled them at Gunter, knocking him out. The muscle of the team managed to shatter the golems and revive Gunter after the battle.

The third room was different. There was no traps but 4 anvils surrounding a strange totem. As the adventurers approached, the totem sprung into life. It had 4 sides, 4 faces facing each anvil. The eyes of the totem burst into bluish flame and summoning 4 spirits to defend itself. As the team takes out a spirit, the anvil glows allowing them to send a magical strike against the totem. The blast shatters one of the faces of the totem. The team quickly realizes that it must destroy all four faces to defeat this construct. After the four faces of the totem crumbled, the team was able to move on.

Finally, the group approaches a gigantic chamber surrounded by flowing lava. There a huge metal figure stood. Gunter cautiously approached the figure. This golem turns out to be the old paragon - Caridin, the creator of the golems. Caridin asks to destroy the anvil of the void as the anvil may create golems at the price of dwarves giving up their lives. Branka arrives and says that the anvil may be used to fight the darkspawn and finally push them back. Morrigan agrees with this - the power to become a god - a creator. Shale however realizes that he was actually a she, the only female dwarf who became a golem. Shayle will not join Gunter should he side with Branka. Ohgren can see the madness that has consumed his wife but should he attack his wife due to the madness?

So it's decision time for Gunter. He sees the power of the anvil but he schemes of a better plan. He'll first take out Branka for trapping him and the hassle of the search for her. Next, he'll take the anvil for himself - take out Caridin in the process. Kill 2 birds with one stone and all the glory for him. The fight against Branka should be easier, he thinks, as the room is filled with golems.

Morrigan and Ohgren disagrees but still the join in fighting Branka. Branka takes out a control rod - subdues Caridin and takes several golems under her control. Bad news for Gunter. A grand melee ensues, golem against golem, dwarf against dwarf. Dealing with Branka is just as tough as golems since Gunter's daggers barely hurt her. He had to retreat and start using a bow for offense. Branka was a monster despite not being one of the warrior caste. She beats up her husband, Ohgren, with ease (quite an insult for a warrior caste). Morrigan can barely hurt her as dwarves naturally resist magic.

Finally, after Shale and Ohgren falls, Branka appears to make the kill. Gunter rushes away and pelts her with arrows. Morrigan attempts freezing her several times but fails. Morrigan soon falls to Branka's might. Branka charges Gunter knocking him down only to find a dagger sticking inside her. Gunter then fires arrows striking her head - finally killing the mad dwarf. Out of exhaustion, Gunter collapses. It appears that he won't have the strength to take Caridin out too. He decides to help and destroy the anvil instead thus gaining Caridin's help.

In the end, Gunter gives a crown to prince Behlen declaring that he was the choice of Caridin. The chapter ends as Behlen grants armies to the Grey warden and sentencing his rival to death. Gunter agrees, says goodbye to his sister and asks one little favor of the prince ... his face on one of the gigantic statues.

Sorry for the super long post – the journey for the dwarves assistance is a hundred times longer.

King's Bounty Armored Princess

Just to take a quick break from Dragon Age (saving the world from Darkspawn is stressful), I grabbed the demo of King's Bounty Armored Princess. I ranted around half a year ago on the greatness that is King's Bounty. It's a game where you have a hero - recruit armies, battle monsters and save the world. We now have the follow up - technically a stand alone expansion for the original King's Bounty.

Armored Princess is more of an expansion as it merely adds upon the first game. There's a lot more creatures - robots, lizard people and additional troops for existing races. There's a few more spells like the first one that caught my eye was the guardian angel spell which would deal damage to enemies if they attacked your creature (like a counter attack). Also, the rage abilities are now on a dragon who looks like Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. The abilities are pretty much the same with a few new additional skills. You take the role of the princess in the first game but all grown up now. I have no idea why the title is armored though, she barely wears anything...

Graphics are slightly enhanced but it generally looks the same as the first one. The interesting new graphic feature is the 3D mode where you need one of those regular 3d-glasses (the red and blue ones not those super fancy 3D monitors). I've tried it out a bit, it sort of works but it will definitely strain your eye.

Personally, if you liked the first game and want more of the same - you will definitely like this one. However, if you never tried the first one but are interested in this - go grab the demo and if you like it, grab it when it comes out this Friday, November 20.

DA: Adventures in the Deep Roads

Spoiler warning....don't read if you don't want to be familiar with the story in the game

Well let's continue with the adventures of Gunter. Gunter was tasked by the dwarven prince to do some dirty work so that the prince may be elected king. The latest quest involves going to the Deep Roads - the abandoned dwarven subway system which are now controlled by the evil darkspawn. The goal of mission is to find this living hero dwarf - Branka and convince her to vote for the prince which would automatically mean victory for him. The problem lies with the fact that Branka has been missing for 2 years and is deep in enemy territory.

Our search starts out by traveling to the ruins of an old dwarven city, Aeducan Thaig. Ohgren, Branka's drunken husband, accompanies our anti hero in his quest. It turns out this mission wasn't going to be easy... Gunter faces off with hordes of darkspawn and the evil Hurlock andGenlock mages who nearly takes down the team several times. After passing an old dwarven city, they go to Caradin's cross - the last known location of Branka. Here they discover a path to Ortun Thaig - another old dwarven city. Discovering this was not easy, the team has used up all their health potions and herbs to get this far. Gunter has one of his arms cracked and he's coughing blood (yup - inuries have those names) and they decide to return to the surface first before proceeding further.

The motley group of adventurers travel to Berchan forrest first to try and seek the aid of the elves. Here they manage to do it easily but this I leave to another story. They resuply and head back to Orzamar bringing back a new compainion - the golem Shale. Gunter also seems to be involved intimately with one of his companions - the swamp witch Morrigan.

I also am starting to feel the pain of not creating a character that would beat the game. I created a role playing character who has a mix of skills and not someone who min/maxed his skills for the greatest damage potential. In the deep roads before meeting Branka, Gunter has engaged with two powerful bosses - the Corrupted Spider Queen which was easy compared to the monster that lived in the Dead Trenches. The Corrupted Spider Queen brought fear to the group as she wrapped them in her web. It took the brute power of Oghren and Shale to finally take down the spider. Yet as I mentioned, this was not the only boss - the Dead Trenches was next.

The Dead Trenches is the old fortress for the legion of the dead. The legion were a suicidal group of dwarves who fought the darkspawn knowing that they will not return alive. After navigating the fortress and hearing the madness of one of the former companion of Branka, we come upon the horror. The monster called Broodmother. A fat disgusting slob of a beast with tentacles erupting from the ground. The dreaded beast would wrap it's disgusting tentacles and capture and strangle our dwarven warriors. Gunter falls as several tentacles trap him. Shale and Ohgren continuously smash and stab the beast while Morrigan fired lightning bolts and drained it's life. Several darkspawn join and aid the monster. Ohgren gets crushed as Broodmother swoop him up and gives him the motherly hug of death. This leaves the mighty Shale and the witch Morrigan. Morrigan has depleted her mana potions and lyrium dusts by now. Luckily, the darkspawn that attacked had some lyrium potions with them. With this, they manage to scrape a victory (after retrying twice) against the demon mom.

Thus, the adventurers push deeper in the Dead Trenches to seek Branka. They find her only to be trapped with her. Turns out she's still alive but she's gone obsessed with finding this anvil of the void. With this, she claims that an army of golems can then be built to fight against the darkspawn. She has sacrificed most of her companions to get there. Boy, does Gunter want to gut this dwarf when he gets the chance. Gunter can't stand psychos and finding the anvil of the void for himself will be quite interesting. As of now, this is where their story ends - I'll continue on once I finish this area.

Impulse and Gamersgate - weekend of Nov 14

I've showed Steam's weekend deal a few hours ago so I'm going into Impulse and Gamersgate now.

For Impulse we have Demigod as the big game that's on sale now. It's a Defense of the Ancients (DotA) style of game with good 3d graphics. It's at 50% offf now. For those indie game lovers, we have Hacker Evolution which is also at half price. I don't know much about this game though. Finally, for the old school gamer, we have Tropico Reloaded. It's Tropico Gold (1 and expansion) and Tropico 2. If you liked Tropico 3 or want to play the a cheaper version of Tropico 3 (albeit at old graphics) you can try this game. Tropico 2 isn't as great though as the theme is totally different. There's also Titan Quest and Children of the Nile on sale over at Impulse.

For GamersGate we have the all time favorite - Company of Heroes complete. This awesome RTS is at 50% off which includes Company of Heroes Gold and Tales of Valor. There's also Stalker: Clear Sky which is the second game of the Stalker series. It's at half price so if you picked up the original Stalker a few weeks ago and want more - go try this one out.

Dragon Age: Level 11 now

For those who want to see my character, Gunter go over to the Bioware Social page for him. It doesn't update as fast as I hope. My character still shows he's level 9 when he's already level 11.

I think I also stumbled upon an infinite experience bug which I don't think anyone else has but since the experience given is a measly 50 xp, I wouldn't really bother with it. You also have to talk to someone in Redcliff over and over again to get the 50 xp (I won't mention it now).

Also, I'm finding that adventuring is getting tough. I seem to be running low on health potions, and going into these long dungeons with no way to beat groups of enemies. I've ended up using a strategy in Baldur's Gate, to lure just a few goons and beat those guys up before engaging the main mob. I've backed out on one quest for the meantime to increase my level first.

Steam: Overlord Crysis

Well this weekend, Steam has dumped out 2 awesome deals. The first one is a 50% off on the most graphically demanding games at the moment - Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. Though truthfully, Crysis in CD form is still technically cheaper. EA Asia has a much better pricing scheme than most publishers out there that let people pay the same amount regardless of where you live in the world. Also the Steam package - grabbing Crysis and Crysis Warhead is more expensive than grabbing each one individually...I mean - 15 + 15 is not equal to $45!

The second deal of the weekend in Steam is....Overlord. It includes Overlord 1 and 2 and that stand alone one - Raising Hell. It's an interesting game which I wanted to play since it kind of reminds me about the old Dungeon Keeper games. You can grab it at 75 % off which means if you just want say Overlord 1, all you have to pay is $1.50...awesome

Dragon Age - Choices

The best thing about Dragon Age: Origins is basically the story and the moral choices you get to make. This isn't the old "good" or "evil" in Baldur's Gate or even Knights of the Old Republic. The choices here really make you think. Like there's this choice now that my dwarf has to make.

A bit more on the background of my dwarf, Gunter. Well like I said, he isn't exactly the most lawful and respectable member of society considering he's part of the dwarven casteless society. He lived his teens and early adult hood being a pickpocket, mugger and thug for the crime lord Behraht. Well spoiler alert.... his sister claims she has found a suitor. Well Gunter becomes a Grey Warden and leaves his dwarven homeland. Eventually, the blight of darkspawn (the evil) must be defended against so he has to go back to his home to ask the aid of the dwarves for help.

Well it turns out the last dwarven king has died. Politics and in-fighting have caused a high amount of tension in the dwarven city. You hear rumors that the prince, son of the former king, Behlen poisoned his father for the right to the throne. The other dwarf who is gunning for power is Lord Harramond who is somewhat a lenient lord.

So in order to secure the aid of the dwarves - there must be a king. So you as a grey warden can pick who you want to support. I sort of wanted to go for Lord Harramond thinking that maybe the caste system might be abolished through his rule or at least ignored. I decided to see how my sister was doing first - turns out the dude she got to marry was Prince Behlen. Uh oh. Do I go for family or for freedom?

Well this was a tough choice. I didn't like the rumors of Behlen but technically my character values his sister above all else. I decided to support the prince and see how it plays out....

Mass Effect Sale

Oh yeah, we have more RPG goodness from Bioware! Mass Effect is now on sale over at Steam at 50% off. For those interested in this space RPG, you should get it now before Mass Effect 2 ships because you're character (and story) can be transferred to the sequel.

Over at Impulse, we have a Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl at 50% off which is the same as the Steam one last week ($5). Go check out their other sales at Impulse.

Over at GamersGate, it's Paradox month so all their games will usually have a daily deal. A good time to maybe pickup Mount and Blade or Majesty 2 but wait for the sale to get some savings. They also have a Painkiller series sale - all at 30% off.

Dragon Age: Origins

Got Dragon Age: Origins yesterday, the much touted spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate. Well from my initial impressions, it is kinda like Baldur's Gate. You can zoom out to make it go to the tactical view which is technically the perspective you have in Baldur's gate or you can zoom in and it becomes to the chase cam like in Neverwinter Nights. You only get 3 classes to start out with though (well if you looked at the D&D Baldur's Gate classes, they're basically just 4 anyway) - Fighter, Thief and Mage (there's no cleric/priest class). Character's can then become specialists later like thieves turning to assassins or bards.

The unique thing about Dragon Age is the origin stories. Depending on your race, either Elf, Human or Dwarf, you get 2 different origin stories for the race you pick. So you basically have 6 starting paths and back stories to your hero character. I decided I would be a dwarven commoner who is a thief. So I named him Gunter and thought he would be a thief, not very good one at that but he knows herbalism (a skill in the game which makes potions). He was a cast out dwarf forced to do drugs and steal to live his daily life.

Well I started the game and the game gave me a back story (no more making up stuff like in Mount and Blade). Well it turns out I have a sister and we're both forced to work under some dwarven crime lord to make ends meet. Gunter was technically a casteless dwarf - an outcast in dwarven society. I love that the game is fully voice acted (except for your hero of course) and I decided I'll be a dwarf who did everything for money to get by everyday but he's also a dude who's overprotective of his sister. Well some spoiler (I guess it's the first thing anyway so it's not so spoilery) your sister is being turned into some whore by that mob boss. Gunter got really angry but he couldn't dare strike against his boss.

Well that's my first take on Dragon Age. I'll be probably filling more blog posts on character fanfic again like in Mount and Blade so stay tuned for more Dragon Age stories.

The Last Stand

Got Dawn of War 2 and started playing the campaign yesterday. It's annoying I can't grab my save game from the demo as I recalled I did better back then. Now, my squad seems to get knocked out and my final rating isn't that good. Anyway, I've taken out both Gutrencha and Skykilla in the campaign and I played against a few easy skirmish. I can't believe that the easy computer is so weak. I mean it took me around a minute to look around the interface and start capturing the power and resource nodes. By 5 minutes, I've taken like 80% of the map and the space marine enemy were no match to my Evil Sun Orks. Dakka Dakka.

I've noticed my squad gets suppressed quickly and this type of suppression feels like the Dawn of War 1 type. Once you get suppressed, it means run away as your troop doesn't shoot and take more damage. I've gotten quite a bit used to CoH's suppression where your troop doesn't attack but takes reduced damage as they seem to duck for cover.

For the graphics, I like the graphics better than Dawn of War 1 or Company of Heroes though I seem to like zooming in a bit more. I sort of remember in Dawn of War 1, units were slightly bigger at the same resolution I'm using now. I like all the flashes and the explosions but too much can get annoying.

I like the interface better as the hotkey of a specific ability is now written on screen. That really helps quite a bit for new players though you still have to know what the ability does though. I wish that the icons were larger and the character portrait a bit smaller though.

Haven't tried any real multiplayer. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some games going later on.
